Meta Keywords The Meta Keywords tag is considered by Google to be a useless tag which is not considered to be a Ranking Signal. Some SEOs commonly don't believe all of what Google states publically and they therefore include relevant terms in the Meta Keywords tag. Some believe that it is not considered but include it in case that changes while others use it for other Search Engines to consider.
The Rel="Canonical" element is part of the Link tag and is a newer and very important element which is used when there are multiple pages which can be created, normally in dynamic websites e.g. This means that one item can be found in either multiple different categories so that a person can arrive on that page by navigating via multiple different routes.

I am busy and not technical. I really liked that they explained the whole SEO process to me in a way I could understand. My prior vendor of SEO just said "let me handle it", they explained the process and methods so I now understand how it worked so I could also contribute key words and other things. They also took my old web site and made it have much more accessibility and looked updated. Thanks.
