Lobo Internet's Fixed Wireless plans are one of the best broadband Internet connections available. Better than cable, DSL and much better than satellite, because our wireless service is a lower cost replacement for a T1 service, yet provides excellent latency and bandwidth capabilities. Lobo Internet has deployed 12 cell sites in Albuquerque, 2 in Rio Rancho, 2 in Santa Fe, 1 in Macintosh, 1 in Estancia, 2 in Moriarty and 2 in Edgewood.

Invoicing and billing are an absolute mess. The payments we make to Lobo monthly either don't show up on their end, are refunded the next day-which they claim to know nothing about, or don't post the month that they're paid. And their customer service is completely indignant about these discrepancies.

Overall, the service is OK. I'm paying $85/mo for at least 5 MBPS download speed and I am getting that. Billing/invoicing could be a lot better! I'm retired and on a fixed income. Last month, because of a billing error, I was invoiced only $31.16. I paid that. Imagine my shock when this month, the invoice was for $138.84! (They had found and corrected their error.) I called and complained and asked for my bill to not exceed $85.
I was told the situation would be reviewed with the owner and I would get a call back with his decision. Guess what. I never got a call back. I guess that gives me the owner's decision!

Over all your not getting what you pay for. If you have a radio antenna setup and you live in a rural area say McIntosh NM and if one is paying attention to their download speed via lobo internet site on a regular basis you will find on average your getting less than half of what your paying for consistently. I find this deceptive. No matter what they tell you your being Gaslighted.
I have tried to resolve and have tried to fix it but it still keeps happening. I'm done and will make sure I communicate to all the honest hard working people who pay who trust a business promise to steer clear of this one. Not mad just going to resolve it. Existing customers I challenge you to monitor it for yourselves in rural areas especially and the truth will come to light. Thanks for reading.

Have had Lobo for about 2.5 years and in general it's been decent. However, the storm that hit on Thanksgiving 2019 knocked service out Thursday morning and 3 days later we're still without reliable internet and no way to contact anyone for support. I get that storms and high winds can cause occasional problems, especially for towers at high elevation such as Sandia Crest.
What is irritating is that there is no information on their website or outgoing voice message addressing outages and estimated repair times. Internet is as much a utility as electricity and failure to keep customers informed is unprofessional.

I am sorry to have to post a negative review. For East Mountain Internet Service, connectivity is good for what is available in area. Customer service though has become the worst I have ever experienced. Since I signed up with Lobonet, I have been unable to pay my bill online with a CC. They have been notified and a year + later it's still the same.
If I can get someone to answer there phone during working hours, they can process the transaction. So why not online? Trying to contact them to pay bill monthly is an exercise in futility. I call, no answer, leave voice messages, no response. I send emails from outlook or there website and get no response. For some this may not seem a big issue but every month wasting hours during the business day in phone calls and emails to pay a bill is time I do not have. I hope someone in management reads this as everyone I have talked to doesn't seem to care and try to resolve these issues.

Unhelpful and occasionally nasty support techs. After seven years, I didn't want to do business with them had the service removed and went 3 years with only an IPhone connection to the internet until I could find a suitable local option. I would do it again, since Ive never had to deal with those anal orifices again. Truly, let the buyer of this service be ware.
It may bite you from behind in the long run. Better to start with another company than have to get stuck with their hardware attached to your home. They of course won't take it down.

We had been very satisfied with Lobonet for a few years. I've personally referred about 10 new customers to them. The last couple of months has been very bad in terms of speed. We pay for 5 Meg's and have been averaging 1.5. I've spoken with them several times and have finally been told that they have over sold their capabilities. Very nice to talk with but have become unreliable. I wouldn't recommend them.
