If I could give less than 1 star I would. Completely unreliable internet service. Have had outages that last days. Connection is always spotty. I have no choice in internet provider due to apartment complex restrictions, otherwise I would switch service providers. As soon as I get out of my current lease, FRII will never have me as a customer again.

I have this through my apartment complex and would 100% rather pay for my own. Weekly outages lasting hours are the norm, which as a student is inconvenient and extremely anxiety inducing to say the least. On the off chance it is "working" the service is slow and unreliable for anything other than quick google searches. Go somewhere else if you want good internet.

Terrible service. Completely unreliable. I'm on my fourth consecutive day without internet now, and still no ETA on when it will be back up. The only reason I have them is because my apartment complex uses them as their exclusive provider for the building. I will not be renewing my lease with my apartment this year for this reason. I work from home and not having reliable internet is affecting my job.

Customer service hurts my soul. I read a review about how they were condescending about "not being able to send emails" and didnt believe it but it's on their website now. Like no when my internets been fully off for two days I can do even less than send emails. Write off $360 I've wasted on two days of work plus $20 for a DVD player since I cant watch Netflix. If my apartment didnt force this wifi on us I wouldve cancelled my contract 6 months ago

Update: they have removed any and all posts on their Facebook page (the only place where you can get ANY response from them - including by phone) which referenced an event where their customers had no internet service for weeks straight. This shows that FRII not only lacks quality of service and customer care, but also lacks accountability. I try to never wish ill fortunes on people or entities, but FRII has no redeeming qualities about it and doesn't deserve to have any customers. Unfortunately, many people are locked in contracts or are forced to use it since their apartment complex uses it.
This almost makes you wish for their inevitable closure so that your apartment complex has no other choice but to find another service. Unfortunately stuck with this company since it is provided by the apartment complex I am in. Currently looking at ANY option for additional internet since their internet is unreliable. When it works, it is very fast.
When it doesn't, you will get no support and just receive a "voicemail inbox is full" response when attempting to call them. Even when it is working, it seems like video conferencing is extremely unreliable at any time of day. I doubt they will receive any new customers after seeing their reviews but, if you are seeing this and are still considering them, stay away.
It isn't worth it. If this company can get their operations under control, I will update this review accordingly. However, that would require better service, reliability, and a lot better communication with customers - as there is currently none. How can you consider yourself a legitimate company with these practices? Do better Note: currently writing this from a Starbucks because my internet is down for a second day straight.

If I could leave a 0 star review on Google for FRII I would. The lack of communication over the past 2 days and their inability to provide the most basic timeline for when services will be back online has been beyond frustrating. This morning, they mention on Facebook that their services will be back online "ASAP" and yet 10 hours later we still have no service, nor have we heard any further communication regarding this outage. I live in an apartment building, but if it were up to me I would switch providers immediately. If you are looking for an ISP, avoid FRII at all costs.

It would be challenging as an ISP to flame out more spectacularly than has FRII. A 7 day (so far) internet outage across their entire service area, with no substantive communication or timeframes for reestablishing service. Unfortunately, a company that has failed at its core mission and probably needs to be put to rest as the charred husk it has become.

Worst internet company i've ever had. I work from home and do everything online, internet has been out for multiple days with no ETA whatsoever on when it will be back up. Apartment complex force this internet on us due to a contract or else there'd be 0 chance anyone would use this company. Also pretty pathetic that the apartment complex chooses the lowest grade internet provider in the area when it's a high end complex. If you work online, or use the internet often and rely on it, DO NOT move into any complex or home that only offers FRII. You will be screwed.

Wifi has been unavailable since Thursday. I'm aware that a core router needed replacement, but maintenance and checking the status of these regularly falls within the responsibility of the company. I work in the technology sector, I know how complicated this is, but regardless an oversight of duties by the ISP. Prior to this connection has been consistent in one aspect alone, how INCONSISTENT it is.
Multiple daily outages lasting only a few minutes but always incredibly inconvenient. Unreliable service. Unsure as to why a number of businesses and housing complexes in the area use this ISP.

Is this a real company? Giving this company one star should be a BLESSING. Been countless instances where their "services" have gone out for extended periods of time. You'd think a competent provider would be able to trouble shoot an outage in under a day right? Wrong. Expect to have outages for 1-3 days all while still paying whatever ridiculous sum these clowns charge monthly. Wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Wake up or go to bed.

Our connectivity goes out about 1-3 times a day for various lengths of time. Recently, it was out for at least 2-3 WEEKS. I would call each day and the service personnel were very nice, but had no real answers. After all that time, finally one of the service staff helped get us connected. Now. our service is out again. its been about 4-5 days and nothing.
I sent emails begging for help and nobody contacted me. yet. I've done everything they tell me to do and. nothing. I've called to ask about service outages and we were told that emergency services can shut us down at any time. thing is, after some research, when the US made the switch to digital, EMS radio now has its own designated frequencies. I get so many excuses about lack of services. I might as well have dial up. We cancelled our service last night. Use FRII only if it is your last resort.

Client for almost 20 years. Lately have been hung up on twice by their sales guy (trying to switch to a more expensive offering), have filled out multiple sales and support forms without response, called the support number listed on their website only to find it's their sales #, finally got a support ticket started only to never hear back. These guys are likely on their way out.

Employees seem nice. But no internet is no internet. Frustrating when the internet stops working minimum once a day with 10-40minutes of wait time until it reconnects. With stay-at-home order, some days I would have up to 10 internet disconnection/outage over the span of 12 hours and some days just couple outages. Inconsistent service.

I have been trying to reach the FRII office for a week. I've filled out the contact sheet on their website three times and have called the office directly. Each time there has been no response. If you guys are reading these, please contact me so I can order service for a new house! Thanks, Greg gregschmitt31@hotmail.com

Do NOT sign a contract with this internet service provider until they change their end of service terms. We had been clients since 2008 - seven years!. We notified them in April of our intent to end service and removed our servers from their site in May. They continued to charge us an additional three months because their agreement renews itself on an annual basis for an additional 12 months!
Who does that? We all accept a one or two year contract, and then expect it to go month to month, not an additional year. We were not provided services, therefore should not have incurred further costs, yet they continued to charge our credit card using different merchant accounts! BEWARE! DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT WITH FRII!

FRII.COM has problems, major problems. I've been a client of FRII for maybe 15 years and suffered the occasional glitch in service. I have two email addresses through them. Recently my active email box suddenly went bananas where every message in the inbox was in triplicate. Thinking it was a problem with my email client Thunderbird I fired off a nasty-gram to them.
The next day I had no emails - in either account. Turns out FRII's email system apparently crashed. It's now going on five days! Five days worth of lost emails. What's especially troubling is that they are completely silent about having issues. There is a phone message "We are currently experiencing." but absolutely nothing on their web site. An occasional email comes through - I've gotten four in five days - so I presume they have the ability to send an alert to customers, or maybe not.
Think of going without emails for five days. Nothing in your inbox, nothing in your spam filter, nothing at all. All vaporized for five days and counting. I have a small business and this could turn out to be a disaster. Not just for me but for their thousands of other clients. I can't even switch to Gmail - which I intend to do - because I can't get the email response required to activate an account. I'm dead.and I'm really pissed!
