We were approached to build an app that would address STEM language-acquistion for Latino kids and families, to help prevent an opportunity gap in their futures. Because early development of academic vocabulary is key to school success, this app was developed to bridge these gaps in the STEM arena, for elementary age students and their parents.
Emberex worked with the MomMoodBooster team to deliver a modern, sleek mobile-first solution to their customers. This project entailed 4 applications - each with a different end user. With a vast amount of content to consider, our design team was able to really flex its muscles and find elegant ways to draw the user to the right content at the right time - and encourage the user to participate in interactive in-app activities.
The Goal Setting Challenge app teaches high school students with mild to moderate disabilities about the Self-Determined Learning Model of Instruction (SDLMI). In the process, students identify areas in their life that may need improvement, determine ways to make those improvements, and take steps that move them toward accomplishing their goals.
