We offer a full range of services - server setup and management, site creation, application development, analytics management, content updates, and server and software updates. We can manage any part of the web process that you wish to outsource, coordinating our work with your ad agency, other outside contractors or with in-house staff.
A custom web application may be the best choice if you are not able to locate a pre-built module or application that satisfies your need. You may have a competitive advantage because you have an application that is unique to your company. The primary disadvantage of a custom web application is that the initial cost is higher.
You may have an in-house application that requires authenticated access to its content via the internet. Or perhaps the web application will be standalone rather than communicating with in-house systems. TelState has experience in creating a variety of such programs, including HR, inventory, ecommerce, and purchasing applications and interfaces.
To CMS or not to CMS? This is not a "one answer fits all". TelState is happy to provide you with your choice - either a static site, a partial CMS or a full CMS, and to advise which approach might be best for you. Let's explore some of the pros and cons. CMS Software must be kept updated. CMS web sites are actively targeted by hackers and any unplugged cracks in the wall (ie, vulnerabilities) are quickly exploited. Therefore it is imperative that you assign resources (in-house or external) to monitor and apply updates on a regular basis.
