I was sold on commitment to the customer and top notch service. However, that was not the case. My website barely got off the ground before I was being contacted by multiple manufacturers regard minimum prices. My prices would never save and some markups were actually negative, which resulted in products being sold under cost. Since going to Vortx, my site has done nothing but lose.
They consistently shift blame around to everyone but themselves. Then, when they have nothing left or you inquire about a refund, they quickly make you aware of your contract and state that no refund will be given. The trick you into signing up with them and then could care less from there on. Steer clear from this company if in the market of starting or trasitioning an online store. They are not helpful and will break you if you're a small company like mine.

Very poor customer service. Blames the customer for every problem with the software and tries to act as if they're doing you a favor by deigning to respond to you. In the past week alone, we had a site outage that impacted sales. I wrote to their customer support twice over the weekend, assuming that having a "LIVE SITE DOWN" priority would lead to some sort of response. Instead, on Monday morning I got a snippy response saying that I didn't provide enough information. Today, I wrote to them regarding a bug in an add-on module that we purchased from them quite recently.
Rather than providing a viable solution or some assistance, they're saying that we need to upgrade our entire website to fix one minor bug (albeit, one that could potentially cost us quite a bit of money). Vortx purchased AspDotNetStorefront last year, and made a big deal about having improved customer service and reliable support for existing software; thus far, it's empty promises.
